Norsca (WH1 DLC which will work in 2) next, Wulfrik is a blast to play as both he and his faction are quite strong, and his monster-hunting unique missions are a fun distraction.
Someone send help, I'm trapped under the Shattered Tower and Seerlord Kritislik is forcing me to write this for him but he doesn't read everything I scribe and this is my only chance to get a plea for help out of wretched Skavenblight. Clan Eshin is a force to be reckoned with. While Malus Darkblade's campaign has some issues with edginess and trying too hard, the Deathmaster just spams assassins and removes lords, heroes, and eventually, entire factions with the click of a button from his safe-space near a soon to be dead Dark Elf. Shadow and Blade, made the ME map larger when it came out which everyone gets for free, and introduces two fun characters. Ikit also starts in the center of the Mortal Empires map in glorious Skavenblight so expand in any direction you please, as Clan Skyre is mighty indeed. Prophet and Warlock, Teenie-Weenie is a hard campaign and he isn't fond of rats (which is why it's so hard, Skaven often destroy him), but Ikit Claw is a blast and has literal nukes you can use from turn 1. Warhammer 1, as it opens more races and Mortal Empires If you do want to play, and want to know what DLC to get, I'd recommend it in this order I don't know if there are any other games with those kinds of stats this long out, but it speaks to the quality of the game. The game is years old and still has almost half of it's peak playerbase playing on a given day. The retention is also something to really take note of. I'm only 85 hours in at this point, far less then most, but I've beaten a legendary campaign and have all the DLC.
Mortal Empires is so good at this point I find it hard to play the 'Vortex' campaign.
